Can/Should I run 3 RAM sticks

Hello,

I have a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 motherboard and I already have single ADATA 4gb XPG V1.0 . I am getting a pair of 2 X 4GB sticks to upgrade to 8 GB's. My question is if I can get the two different sticks to cooperate should/can I have the 3 running or will it not really help?

You can mix the RAM, but there are no guarantees they will work together. 8GB is more than enough but 12GB is OK too, if they work together. If you use 3 then you are running the single channel mode.
