Can somebody give me some tips to install Asus Z87-WS motherboard?

I ordered that motherboard to upgrade my system and I noticed that it has two 8 pin power sockets and one 6 pin power socket which is two more than I usually see. My main doubt is what connectors should go in those sockets. I'm almost sure that I should connect the two CPU 8 pin connectors from my power supply to the two 8 pin sockets in my motherboard. I'm not sure yet about which connector should go in the 6 pin socket but, I gues that a 6 pin PCI-E VGA connector should be OK. I would like to make sure with you guys if what I guess is correct.

A second question is about 2 molex to 6 pin PCI-E adapter. I have one of those that came with my old GTX 660 which I already sold. I noticed that only 5 of the 6 pins are wired. Will that work with the 6 pin PCI-E jack of my GTX 970?

That's a Workstation/Server motherboard, isn't it? Doesn't the motherboard manual specify which to use?

so your talking about the dual connector for 12xatx ?

the other 6 pin connector is listed with the same header number so , seemingly 3 connectors for power + 20 pin connector
man power hungry board aint it ?

seems you need the 24 pins + 4/8 pin minimum, but if you run x16pcierxpress video card to provide more 4/8 pin connector
I wonder if that is when None PCIE 4+2 connector existed?
