Hello ,

Ive currently got £400 in my pocket and I want to build a gaming pc . Unfortunately Im not good with choosing parts and finding the best deals . Everything should be new apart from the GPU . Thank you in advance

Solution
400 pounds really isn't much to work with...

What did you have in mind for a 2nd hand gpu? Do you already have the monitor, mouse, keyboard, and OS?
I think you really need to reconsider your budget and save up some more.

Here's a build without the 2nd hand gpu, monitor, mouse, keyboard, and Operating System:
PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor (£106.99 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: ASRock B450M Pro4-F Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (£61.99 @ CCL Computers)
Memory: Patriot Viper Steel 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory (£59.99 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£34.38 @ Aria PC)...

So unless you already have some of the non-listed parts, the 400 pound budget is just too low.

Some good deals can be found 2nd hand, but you also have to be aware of the scams and bad deals in the mix as well.
-Fake GTX 750(Ti) & 1050(Ti)
-gpus that were heavily mined on, the most popular being the RX 400 & 500 series, and GTX 1050(Ti) & 1060. There's likely an abundance of those cards due to some miners trying to recoup their losses.

All new parts with some expansion capability: a second 8GB stick can be used to up the system to 16 GB ram, the cpu can be upgraded to any of the 1000-2000-3000 series cpus, and likely this summer the 4000 series. . the 570 could be replaced by a RX 5500X even on the 400W PSU.
