Can somebody help me?. I installed windows 7 ultimate and now i can not play any games or connect to my tv. I have played the games and connected to my tv before and worked perfectly. What should i do?. I have tried to do updates and other stuff but nothing works.

U should explain better the situation. But if I have to guess I would say ur videocard drivers isnt installed. It's using the generic driver from windows 7.

Could u post ur machine specs please?

i've installed dragon age 2 but it won't run the computer says it can't find video card. I have a good nvidia graphic card but after i installed win 7 it does not work as it should. When i check the grapfic car it says that i only have something called a standard vga screen card.

I don’t remember how big the graphic card is but it was good enough to play any rpg games that I have installed for example oblivion and Wicher2.

Processor: intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T8100 2.10ghz 2.10ghz
Ram: 3.0 GB

Based on your replies I would assume you have no idea what is in your computer besides the CPU and that your GPU is Nvidia based. You are going to need to do a hardware inventory of your system and install all of the device drivers for your system.

if you go here -> http://www.geforce.com/Drivers
and run the auto detect it should find the proper driver for your GPU so you can download and install it on your system this should fix your graphics driver issue.

Besides that I am wondering are there and yellow exclamation marks in your device manager and if so what are they? (control panel -> system -> device manager)

i've tried to do a driver detection on geforce.com but it says that it can't detect my GPU. I have no exclamation marks in my device manager.

I've tried to do a manual driver search and install driver but when i try to install the nvidia installer says that it can't find any compatible graphic hardware. But i know it's there.

I've tried two times now and the installer says Nvidia installer can not continue,

driver can't find any compatibal graphic hardvare.

done that two times.
Nvidia installer can't find compatible graphic hardware.

Ouch..... I would switch off the pc , open it up and remove the card and reinstall it. Try the drivers again and see if that helps.
You are definately sure its an Nvidia card?

Yepp i'm sure it's an Nvidia card. Can i remove a graphic card on a laptop?.

what laptop?(damn, should have guessed from t8100 that you have a mobile cpu. see that's why full pc specs are important.)
no. usually you cannot remove the gfx 'card' from your laptop unless it allows you to.
did you try the gfx driver from your laptop manufacturer's website?

Could the problem simply be that i have changed from Vista to win 7?

I can't find anything about gfx driver On LG website.

shouldn't be a problem. you just have to download the windows 7 driver. your laptop's manufacturer should have a gfx driver for win 7 or search nvidia's site.
if you're not sure which gfx card/chip you have you can use piriform's speccy or gpu-z to determine what kind of gpu you got.

i've used speccy and the only thing i get on graphics is, non-PnP-screen (800x600@1Hz)
14MB Standard VGA-screen card (MSI). It's like my Nvidia card never existed, but it worked perfectly before i changed to win 7.

LG r700-x.apukv
i'm starting to suspect that i made a big mistake installing win 7 maybe my card only worked with Vista or xp
