I'm getting a new power supply and I just want to make sure it can power all of my components.

G Skill Ripjaws x Series 8GB DDR3 1866 ram

I came to about 550 watts, but can someone double check me please.

That is a very high quality PSU and more than adequate; Even the 520W version would run your system without problems.

Yes it can.A good choice.That system will not draw 550watts though,that's way to high.I think that 250watt would be the highest in normal use.Even if you would use 300watt would that be a lot less than the 550watt you thought of.
