Can someone explain this to me?

Hello,

I recently bought the Corsair CX Series 600 Watt ATX/EPS modular power supply, and when I started to install it I noticed that it said peripherals & Sata under the first column, and 6+2 PCI-E & 4+4 CPU under the second column. When I checked the bag of cables I only found one that said PCI-E and none that said CPU. How do I go about doing this?

Hello... the MB/CPU connector should have 2-yellow and 2-black wires and a 4- pin connector it might not be a seperate module connector... what does your MB need 4-6-8 pin connector?

It might say EPS instead of CPU.

It'll have one permanent pcie cable and one modular pcie cable.

The PSU has a CPU connector built in, does this mean that I don't need another CPU cable to plug into the power supply?

Hello... Yes... if it's a 4-pin and your MB a 4-pin connector? if it's a 6-pin and your MB a 6-pin connector?... etc.
