[SOLVED] Can Someone Explain this?

Hello all something strange happened today:

I cleaned my PC mainly my GPU which had a lot of dust build up, I removed it, cleaned it and put it back. However, when I tried to turn my pc on, everything powered but no video and my keyboard wasn't powering on either. After a quick google search, I removed my ram and put it in different slots now everything is back working. My question is why would my ram be the issue if I never touched it to begin with?

Maybe the issue was just that one of the ram sticks wasn't seated properly, got knocked out during your cleaning. Then when you moved them they got locked back in place.
