Get them from your motherboard manufacturer's web page for your motherboard. They are better anyways as they are newer. If you do not know your motherboard name, download a program called Speccy and it will tell you. Then Google "(motherboard name) drivers" and you'll find the manufacturer page you want. Then download the drivers for chipset, LAN, and what have you.

If you have Windows 8 or Windows 10 you may not even need to do this as the drivers are built into Windows.

When I did a clean install of Windows 8.1 Professional last year, I did not have to download any drivers for my Gigabyte Motherboard. Windows found them and installed them. The only drivers I did have to download were for my graphics card.

Also depends on the motherboard. If it's older board such as FM2, it may not even have drivers for the version of Windows you have. If you give us the name of your Windows version and motherboard name we can tell you your best option. The manufacturer's latest chipset drivers are always ideal.

It never hurts to go the the mfr page for your motherboard and see if any of the drives have been updated since Windows 8.1 came out. If there is and newer driver DL it and install it. If not then just check in your device manager and just DL the drivers for any devices with the "!" next to them.
