It is called the "Insta-Light Loop Button"

It controls "the fan color and lighting effects with Insta-Light Loop at the touch of a button. Click through the profiles at ease and choose a favorite"

I am confused as to whether this button will control the other lighting on my build, like the fans

Yes, it says it controls the "fan color and lighting effect", but is that only for the fan that came pre-installed in the case? If I replace that fan, can I still control it with the button, along with the other fans installed in the case?

Case is : MSI MAG VAMPIRIC 100R Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX Case

did you look in the manual?

https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/pc/7G07-manual.pdf

page 12 appears to talk about ARGB, and says not to connect it to motherboard
the argb controller can run 5 case fans so I would expect its for more than just the one in case. this is linked to the button

Short press the LED switch button to change mode.
Long press the LED switch button for 3 seconds to turn LED off.

I did.. but didn't understand it

This makes sense... I didnt even know there was a built-in controller in the case.
