Can someone help me with my Mic problem.

My Mic works through 'Recording Devices;, but will not work in app's like Voice Recorder, or Steam.
I have tried a few things..
So Bizzare.

Hi,

Did you set your microphone as the default mic in Recording Devices?
- Do try to uninstall/reinstall the sound driver of your PC.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the sound driver.
- Reboot your PC and it should reinstall the driver automatically.
- If it doesn't reinstall, download and install the latest driver from the manufacturers site.
- Once installed make sure that your microphone is still set as the default mic in Recording Devices.
- Also do run Windows Update and install all updates available.
