Solution

cheapest youll find it for is 100 dollars on amazon or newegg. But look around you to see if anyone you know can hook you up with an install. Some other techy guys that go to my High school are helping me with a new install. but if you dont have anyone willing to help youll have to fork over a 100$ to amazon or another store

Not trying to sell you on a corsair or anything but the graphite 230t by them is really good. I havent heard anything about those other cases though so dont let me discourage you. Other than that id go with the 4790k so you can can overclock if you get curious.SHould be a good build but one thing the first one doesnt have another HDD. Might wana get one because 120 gb really is nothing

Regarding the CPU go with the K version if you will eventually Overclock it, otherwise you can save some money going with the non-K version.

Change that PSU, regardless which build you decide, go with a better brand like Seasonic, Antec, XFX, EVGA or Corsair (not their CX series though) 700w+ 80+ Bronze or even Silver Certified so you can later accommodate a 2nd GTX 970 or next gen single GPU.

Other than that either choice looks pretty good, heard of some people having issues here and there with MSi boards but maybe those were specific problems, still, look for reviews on that mobo before going with it if you choose that option.

Yeah you should be fine, the only thing you really need to worry about in compatibility is you cpu and your mobo socket type. But from what i see your build seems fine. However be sure to inquire whether or not your case supports 2.5 inch drive bays which your ssd has. Also you may want to get a better cpu cooler and some system fans.Make sure the cpu cooler supports the socket type, and that the case supports the fan size if you do get them.
