Question Can someone kindly explain why this particular temperature is very high?

I have msi h61m-p31 motherboard running with Intel core i5 3570 which I purchased recently. I wanted to check how were the temps of my pc using open hardware monitor when I found out that one of the temperatures is very high at 108C' at one instant. I began to check at different times and found out that the temps stay above 90 at idle. I wonder what component temperature is this and why is this so high. Cpu temperature is fine but the temperature #2 displayed is very high

Go into BIOS and find temperatures section there.
Try to locate something with similar temperatures 80C - 90C.

I'd suspect Hardware Monitor reading temperature sensors wrong.

Yeah, especially on an older motherboard.
