I am looking at heatsinks and those came up on NewEgg under Socket 478. I'm looking for a heatsink for my old Dell, I have one similar that's aluminum. It came in my Dell Dimension, with a vent leading to the case fan. My question is, do you think that it would provide sufficient cooling for my 2.2ghz P4 with just a case fan? The original fan connected to the CPU fan pins, I believe it runs off higher amps. I replaced this case fan with one that connects to the PSU's molex.

Actually, I found a clip that attaches to the chassis that holds a fan to blow over the heatsink. It's part of a Zalman heatsink, but the clip can be bought seperately. I think I meant 0.38 on the amps or something. I dunno, I just know it's different from my other 92mm fans. I'll toss in the big old aluminum heatsink that Dell used, and the cooling will be better than it used to be. $5 for a small cooling upgrade, along with a fan I have.
