Hello, I’m building a $1000 PC but before I purchase it, I want to make sure that they all work well and preform well. I plan to overclock a little and use VR. Here are the parts:

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
GPU: Gigabyte 1660 ti Gaming OC
MOBO: MSI b450 Tomahawk
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Lpx 16gb 3000MHz
SSD: Silicon Power 1tb nvme m.2 (su001tbp34a80m28ab)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2tb
PSU: Evga Supernova G2 550w
Case: Masterbox k500 ($60-70)

Not sure of the cost of Silicon Power SSD, but, Intel's 660P NVME drive is priced (1 TB for $119, 2 TB for $225) so low it is competitive with SATA prices!

Before you pull this trigger on R5-2600...you are aware the ~18-20% faster 3600X will be out in 2.5 weeks?

I would buy an Intel 660p as well. The SiliconPower SSDs arent well known.
The Hyper 212 isn't going to be the best to overclock the 2600. If you aren't overclocking just use the stock cooler.

I would wait for Ryzen 3000. The B450 tomahawk is a good board that should support 3rd gen pretty well.
