Can someone suggest an XL, right handed gaming mouse that isn't too expensive?

I plan on using it for gaming, so a button or two on the side would be plus too. I keep digging around, but I'm sure I haven't come across every option.

Your best approach is to go visit various "big box" stores or other places that sell mice.

Try the mice as best you can for a mouse or two that have the fit and feel that you like. See how rugged and well built the mouse is. Go online and look for reviews by verified purchasers. Check the manufacturer's websites for FAQs and related forum discussions. Read the User Guide/Manual - especially if the mouse has desired/required side buttons. See how those buttons can actually be configured for use.

"Too expensive", although that is understood in many ways, is subjective. And even though price increases with quality a high price does not mean that the product has proportional quality.

Try some mice, decide what is most important with respect to the mouse and your gaming requirements. You may find yourself revising the budget.
