Can someone tell me why Delta Force Land Warrior takes around 20-45 mins to
join a lan game.

Someone must have managed to get around this problem.
all my other multiplay games work ok.

I have 2 computers connected via wireless peer to peer.
I start the the host computer then join with the other but it takes anything
up to 45 mins before it joins a game.

I can play a internet game and it joins straight away.

Both computer are running Windows XP Home Ed

Hope someone can help.

TIA
Simon

It takes long. I don't know why, never bothered since I just ran it as
internet server (NL) and joined that way.

Use DEM to join locally....

Maybe it's because the lan games connect using ipx/spx which is very slow
compared to internet games that use tcp/ip?
