It might simply be that when you returned to that page after playing a
game, your browser reloaded an old image of the web page.
If you go from web page A to web page B and then back to page A, your
browser doesn't download page A again from the original site, it just
gives you a copy of what A looked like the last time you were there.
This is normal -- it's a kind of shortcut that web browsers use to speed
things up. It's not usually a problem, but if going to page B changed
the contents of page A, then when you return to A, you will see an
outdated page. Just hit refresh/reload in your web browser and it will
download an updated version of the page and should show you logged in.
You'll also see this effect in your neopoint total -- if you play a
bunch of games and then go back to the main screen, all those neopoints
you just earned won't show up, but if you hit refresh, you get an
updated version of the page that shows the change.
If you refresh and it STILL shows you not logged in, then there is
something else going on.
