[SOLVED] Can SSD have 100% usage for no reason like HDD does

All types of storage can have this issue. Yes performance can be affected.

100% drive usage is almost always caused by something else entirely (something running in the background, malware etc.) so of course it can happen to an SSD as well as an HDD.

You need to investigate and fix the underlying cause of the high drive usage, not change the drive.

Task manager shows disk usage at 100 percent. its not just one program. Sometimes its chrome or a antivirus or a system 32 program. i think windows 10 is boasting any program to 100 percent disk space. Its not at 100 percent all the time only when i start a program. 100% disk usage

So my problem is that my disk usage is just stuck at 100%. The "System" program is the top program using the most space than other programs. I have a SSD and windows 10, I've disabled Superfetch and that's done nothing. So right now idk what else to do, oh that I've also restarted my computer.

100% Disk Usage will not go away

No matter what I do, my computer always has 100% disk usage I’ve updated all my drivers, cleared temp files and virtual memory, disabled Windows Search and Superfetch, my computer WILL NOT WORK It’s like a smug little snail. Mocking my every attempt to make it move faster. Please help. Please.
