I came into my house today after someone was ccoking and my house was full of smoke/steam from someone cooking. Can this harm my computer?

Solution
depends on how much. steam will condense back to moisture. some smoke will have stuff in it. look at the fan above your stove and the gunk up there. but to harm your pc it has to be a lot and you probably would be harmed too. it will take more than a burnt pie.

Solution
It depends on multiple things. How close is the computer to the kitchen? Does your case have many air vents or is it relatively closed. The one that can cause the most harm is steam because it condenses into water, which can heavily damage computer components.

My case has a fair bit of ventialation, 2x140 on the top and front, and my computer is in the same room as my kitchen.
