Yes it's fine.

If it can take one, it can take the other as they are the same type and generation.
Both will work fine on that board.

If you're not going to overclock I would just get the standard 3770. If you get the 3770K you should get a board with a chipset better suited to overclock. Otherwise you'll be sitting without more, free performance. Who wouldn't want that?
