Can the Cooler Master Thunder 450W PSU run my GTX 260?

Hi Guys,

Can this run my RIG?


my current hardware config is :

Core2duo [E7500]
4Gigs of DDR3 RAM
500Gb HDD
No other peripherals....

my old PSU died on me so am looking for a replacement... suggestions pls?

Not much of a gaming enthusiast so didn't bother to upgrade my RIG .... so will this PSU do?

i know the gtx 260 requires 27-35 amps on the +12V rail and from the description it looks like it will suffice .. am i missing out something? :S ????

nope 500W minimum, so I suggest getting a Corsair CX 600M since you NEED at least 50 to 100W of extra headroom.

But as per guru3d 260gtx consumes 182w as a maximum , the HDD and the rest wont suffice with 200w(approx)? (taking into consideration that it actually performs with 85% efficiency).....

am not just sure
