We have an older (ancient?) Toshiba Netbook NB255N240 with the Intl Atom N455 cpu. We've upgraded the RAM to 2GB, the max the system will support, and installed Fossapup64 Linux. Since it spites us to ditch a perfectly fine, working computer that served us well when we were in Tanzania.
So, can the cpu be replaced or is it one of those stupid welded, er, I mean, soldered in place units? If it can be replaced, will the ram limit of 2GB be higher? Searching the bunch-of-holes-held-together-by-string has returned no answers.
