basically the question is up there im wondering does it work or would it need a bios update and if it wouldnt work would anyone have any suggestions for what to change
hmmm, that is risky since I see nothing about 8300 FX series support and there is only one BIOS download meaning they haven't updating the motherboard bios from the bios it comes with.

Actually I take my comment back, since wolfshadw says that it does support Fx 8320.
But to fully answer your question, it would of been risky because a motherboard can only see the CPUs it's been programed for, and when a new processor comes out that is physically compatible with older motherboards, it will fit but the software won't recognize it and the system won't run, so a BIOS update will add the cpu to it's list of cpus it can see basically.
