can the H105 run efficiently with 1 fan?

Can a corsair h105 run efficiently with only one of its cooling fans without having to worry about the cpu temp?

Yes it can but (besides WHY?) would depend on what it's supposed to cool.

Changed cases, raidmax viper gx II and my motherboards 8 pin is in the way of one of the fans since the h105 is bigger then the h100, its cooling a 4790k(not overclocked)

It should hold up, fan speed will raise when hot.

I put the pump on full power and the one fan on full power and temperature seems to stay stable enough, yet to test it with a game like witcher 3
