can the hd 7950 handle

Solution

There is no lower then 3gb as far as i know,

7950 is a good choice for that matter and low cost, if you would pound another one in you would be rocking that resolution, thats why i chose the 7950 and for many other reasons!.

Hope i answered your question!.

It can, fairly easily.

Don't go for a GTX 760 4GB. You'll NEVER use any of its advantages (Such as the extra 2 gigs you're paying for). Tahiti tends to perform better in multi monitor setups due to its higher memory bus.

The 7950 is roughly speaking around 1.8x faster than a 6950. Not only that, it can be overclocked like a boss (Most go from 800 stock to around 1100 Core, which is a huge gain, over 20 fps for me in Battlefield 3.). Mine personally goes to 1200.

I'm sorry but i hope you are actually reading posts, atleast 3gb is necessary and the 760 4gb is fine.

because else you have a 2gb which is not sufficient, that other guy is ranting and thinking that you want full HD and probably has no experience himself.

Point of the matter is...2gb is too low and nvidia does not have 3gb so 4gb is fine.

Sigh... just stop.

A single GPU config would be fine with 2GB -- the card would easily run out of power before it would run out of vram.

I'm inexperienced? HAHAHAHAHA, check my badges buddy. I've been at this a lot longer than you have.

yea im new to upgrading my gpu

I had ultra HD in the back of mind dude, i dont care about your badges, your post just shows why you waste your life, the more badges people like you have the more time wasted.

I guess its all about being cool but if thats what you want go ahead.

Computers is a low low segment to be in in IT dont forget that, i have done thousands of PC's, servers etc for huge companies, i have my own company i program software and create my own hardware if necessary.

I can do everything and have helped hundreds of thousands of people by making large systems that benefit my entire country, i have the highest deggree's in programming you can find. (missing a couple but dont need more papers)

On the other hand, you use your GPU entirely for playing games and wasting time as always, gathering badges.... i on the other hand have a Radeon for multiple purposes mainely so i can use the ALU cores for my calculations if i have some spare time so i can work at home "after work''.

Now you again?

stop feeling cool and thinking you know everything, saying HAHAHA and how much badges you have is just frustrating.

Its an insult to this forum, goodluck there buddy.

easy! go with AMD like the other poster has mentioned, i really wonder how a multi monitor eye-finity setup would look like with multiple 3200 x 900 screens!

Must be amazing, may i ask what monitor you have? might get one for myself.
