Can the MSI Z97 SLI Krait edition run two 980's at x8/x8?

PCI Express 3.0 x16 = 2 x PCI Express 3.0 x16

On Z97 boards, when 2 slots are used, they go x8 x8 which supports SLI .... if 3 are used, it goes x8, x4, x4 which supports CF

The MSI Krait Edition however is a very poor performing gaming board.

Spend a little more for the MSI Gaming 5 ... was just $6 more 2 weeks ago
