CAN THE NEW GRAPHICS CARD Nvidia GEFORCE GTX 1050 BE POWERED ONLY FROM THE POWER SUPPLY?

Hello guys...i would like to know if the new graphics card,Nvidia GTX GeForce could be only powered from the motherboard..
My PC specs:
CPU:Intel Core i5 4460 @ 3.20GHz
RAM:8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz
MOTHERBOARD:ECS H81H3-M3
PSU:400W

From the initial specs given by nvidia the "reference" design (quotes because there won't be any reference models) will be powered only from the motherboard, yes. There will likely be other aftermarket cards with a 6-pin power connector as well to exceed the 75w TDP.

you mean that it may need a connection with the psu?

Just like the 750ti, there will be oc versions that want a 6 pin and there will be stock versions that only need power from the mobo.

Some models will not need a 6-pin power from the PSU and will be powered only from the motherboard. Some will need an additional 6-pin power connector. Just check the model specs when you buy.

Some models (versions) won't need a power connection from the PSU
Some will.

Read the specs/requirements before puchasing.
