Same as the title:

Can a R7 240 run 1080p at any graphic settings with a 3.5 Ghz CPU?

System: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6 Core | AMD 760G Chipset | 8GB DDR3 | 1TB HDD | Genuine Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Graphics:AMD Radeon R7 240 2GB Video Card | 1x VGA | 1x DVI | 1x HDMI

Chassis:Tempered Glass Side Case Panel

I'm not going to be playing current games or demanding games until I get my hands on a 1060, this will have to do for now to play games that demand less or equaly to fortnite on low-medium.

If it runs bad still on 1080p I'll just change the resolution to 720p.

Here is full details on the item I'll be buying first and slowly upgrade:

Solution
ofc no, that card is not made for gaming
old games u could run with high details, but more modern games will need atleast gpu from mid range (r9 290x if we stay in your current gpu lineup)
That actually depends; on the oldest of titles yes, the newer titles, you will need to set to the lowest detail settings.

Please list you specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

3.5GHz does not indicate what the make and model of your processor is nor the make and model of your PSU.
