Can the R9 295x run 3 4k monitors at once?

Okay, so I am looking at the specs of the R9 295x (and bare in mind this is very much a hypothetical situation) and according to many sites the GPU's maximum digital resolution (which confuses me slightly as I'm not exactly sure what that refers to) is 4096x2160. Does this mean it would be impossible (not due to the processing power but simply the physical limitations of the card) to run 3 4k monitors off the card (or say two cards). Or does it mean that the maximum resolution for a single monitor connected via a single display port can be 4096x2160?

The card can run 3x 4k monitors through DP, but of course you won't be able to game with it, perhaps just web browsing and that sort of easy stuff. The highest resolution you will be able to go up to is 3840 x 2160 if you have Windows 7 to have the screen look "normal", but I think if you have Windows 8.1, you can use the full 4096 x 2160.
