It depends, it should be able to. Is it a pc you built or is it a prebuilt like a dell? Sometimes there can be issues with prebuilt, they tend to use proprietary hardware like motherboards with bios limitations that aren't as compatible as say a standard 1150 motherboard you buy from newegg. If not the xeon then an i5 like the 4590. If it's a prebuilt you'd have to make sure that the processor is supported on that actual board.
