Can the SATA cables/ports take this in the long run?

Hello,

As seen in the picture attached, my SATA cable is really bent due to the distance between the connectors being much larger than between the hard drives. Because of this high tension, the SSD SATA port is slightly bent upwards too. Will this damage anything or am I just being paranoid?

It wont but you could tuck that upend with a ziptie towards the bottom.

I'd unplug the top connector and bend the cable the other way to stuff the cable between drives, should put a little less force on the connector by putting the leverage on the inside instead of out.
