On the box of my graphics card (XFX DD R9 270x CDFR) the recommended wattage for crossfire is 600w. I was wondering if this psu will be enough to run it crossfire, it is a 600w but I am not sure it will be able to.

Specs:

Gpu: XFX DD R9 270x CDFR
Cpu: AMD FX 4130 @ 3.8ghz
Psu: Thermaltake TR2 600w
Mobo: GA 78-lmt usb3

Solution

Plus you need a high quality 750W psu to crossfire 270X's.
Ok. So the TR2 600w will not work for this as suspected. To crossfire I would have to also upgrade my Mobo.

Is there anywhere I can sell old computer parts that are gently used like is 1 month old card and get close to retail price. I bought this card for 230$ and due to miners most 270x's have risen to close to 300$, could I sell this card for around 240$ easily?

just see this I imagine you solved it but in case not it will be plenty enough I have that psu its made by seasonic i think , good option

The r9 does get a good benchmark score but not while practical gaming . I had a sapphire r9 270x but changed it for a r7 265 & let me tell you I have seen a reasonable performance increase .

I just did a build with crossfire R9 270 cards and at max load together the cards draw 520 watts. The 270x do draw a few more watts at max load then its little 270 brother. I was running a 500 watt PSU but had under wattage problems. With any R9 crossfire build I'd recommend a 750watt evga supernova psu, they work flawless with a good price range and quality.

Is that 520w for the entire system or just the 2 video cards?

as you can see under load the full system power draw for the 270x is under 300w so in theory you could but depending on your other parts you could be pushing it close to the upper limit of your PSU.
