Can the waterblock be safely disconnected for easier installation?

It is a very, very dumb question, but, I have a H110 and I'm trying to install, but it would be a lot easier if I could just unplug the water block or something. Is it okay? Please don't laugh at me...

Solution
Not with an all-in-one cooler like the H110. They are pre-filled and sealed at the factory. They are not meant to be disassembled.

If you disconnect it your fluid will drain and you'll have a very hard time re-filling it. This may also void the warranty.

How are you trying to mount it, and what difficulty are you having? Post a picture. Maybe we can help you get it installed in 1 piece? :)

I only have the two holes in the back, that are meant for custom water cooler systems, open loop, and I'll mount them outside because I don't have the room. If I can't disassemble and pass the tubes there, I'll have to carve open my case, or, leave it open, for, otherwise, I have no way of passing the block inside.

I saw your post but didnt realise it was you again hehe, you can do it that way but you need to disassemble it away from the Pc and drain all the fluid out, you'll also need a tee junction to put in somewhere so you can refill it and bleed the air out, the way I said to cut your grommets out is the safest way and keeps your coolers warranty intact, if you takee it to bits you lose your warranty 🙂
