Can this 600w psu run a MSI r9 280x Twin Frozr?

In that case, 600W will easily run a 280x and you can overclock it and the CPU and still have enough power.

I haven't overclocked anything before but I might give it a try when I'm sure it's all good.

Overclocking is pretty easy. I'm fairly new to it, but have been impressed at how easy it is. As long as you got a good cooler and a decent mobo you're almost there.
