I really enjoy open world games like dayz standalone so I will be playing that a lot can this run it on High Settings?

I am open to suggestions and I would also like to know if I could upgrade my GPU any or would that bottleneck the i3 and yes I know it's a i3, I figured that the hyperthreding will make up for the lack of cores.

Drop the Z97 with the locked i3. Get a locked i5 and H97 if you can. It should perform much better.

I'm saying, you will be much better of with an i5, get a 4440, it's only 20$ more. For the main question. You could probably go up to GTX 770. All of the games CPU dependent will be a struggle. That better?

This would perform much better than the i3. It can be overclocked and has more cores. It should not bottleneck the 760.

You won't be able to OC. Plus the i3 couldn't be overclocked anyways. Go for the most solid and cheapest mobo. Since you are not overclocking an H chipset is fine. If you had a K processor, going with a Z chipset would have been advised.
