What are the specs for the rest of your system? Without knowing whether the rest of your system is up to the task, you can't make an informed assessment of question (with the desired GPU).

That is a great card and can run all high end games with ease(@1920x1200).....but 560Ti in SLI can perform better than single 580 and is cheaper than 580 such as this one

That video card you chose with the right components will play any game at max settings , but you will get different fps from the different games. It would help if you listed the other components in your Pc.
