Can this cpu run vr

can an e5 1660 3.3 ghz with 32 megs ram be able to run vr? what processor i5, i7 is it equal to? I know is over 4 years old but is it still worth keeping ?

An E5-1660 would be equivalent to an i7-3960X (without the unlocked multiplier)

It's not 'officially supported' for a lot of VR applications, but neither are older i7's & i5's which work without any issue.

I would suspect you should be fine from a CPU standpoint, but it'll depend on your GPU.
