Question Can this gpu work?

Hi Toms hardware users

Im planning on putting together a new pc.
The one i currently have is 7 years old and after i got an 34" ultravide 21/9 144hz screen it cant keeper up.

My current config:

MB: Asus z170 Pro Gaming

Gpu: Nvidia GTX 1070

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 Skylake

Ram: 2x 16gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3000

HDD: Samsung 950 Pro ssd m2.2280

PSU: Chill Real 1000 W

Case: Antec Performance One p1828

Would it be posible to use the 3060ti in My current pc? Since i dont have money for all components untill a few months from now.

My planned new config:

MB: Gigabyte Z690 Gaming X

Gpu: Gigabyte Gaming OC Rev2 Nvidia 3060 Ti

Cpu: Intel Core i5-12600 kf 3,7 Ghz

Ram: Corsair Vengeance RGB LED Pro Black DDR4 3200Mhz CL16

Hdd: Samsung 980 Pro M.2 1TB (M.2280)

PSU: 1000 W 80 gold Modular (undecided on brand and model)

Case: Be Quiet! Pure Base 500DX (or similar with good airflow)

Plus fans an maybe an AiO for the cpu.

You can absolutely run a 3060Ti in your current PC.

at 3440 x 1440, yes. You will certainly gain FPS in most games just with the GPU upgrade.
