Can this harm my pc?

Okay , so recently i have noticed when my pc is sitting idle , it sometimes loses power. also the the switch for my pc is between two other switches so sometimes when someone else in the house tries to switch of the other switches , they by chance switch of the pc one. I heard that it can cause corrupt files. If it can is there a way to repair my window files? because i sometimes feel like my computer takes little more time than earlier in opening applications.

Put a piece of tape over the switch that is yours so no one flips it.

But yes, constantly loosing power with the PC is on can cause problems, usually corrupt files or corrupt windows that forces a reinstall.
