Can this motherboard overclock a g3258

My mobo is gigabyte h81m s1 my power supply is a cx430 my GPU is a r7 265 and also tell me if I can oc it to 4.8 ghz

the board has very limited overclocking functions and like most h series boards is probably locked at 1.2v vcore max, which wont be enough for 4,8ghz unless you get super lucky in lottery and get one of the top 2% of these chips that could actually do 4,8ghz under 1,2 v most will need more than 1,3vcore, mine needs 1,4v vcore for 4,7 and nothing i do can get it stable at 4.8 so yeah best option is going for z87 or z97 board

perhaps, again depends on your luck in silicon lottery if you get lucky it might but most likely it wont it will do something like 4,3 in most cases perhaps 4,4ghz but 4,5ghz usually need a bit more than 1,2 v usually something in the line of 1,25
