Can this motherboard overclock

Planned for a new build. Have to buy new motherboard and processor anyways. So i will go with gtx 1060 and i5 8400 along with Corsair tx series psu and 8gb ram. So will Gigabyte Z370M DS3H Can be used for overclock if i change to "K" version processor after 3-4 years ?

Hi 1lang-,

It's a Z370 motherboard so yes it has overclocking features BUT I would avoir to do it for a simple reason.
It has an unsufficient power phase numer and no heat sink on them so VRM will not give stability and will run very hot.

To keep it simple, you can but you don't want to do it...
