Hey i have this PC currently lmao
https://gyazo.com/3b0a1feb8e5a4ce956d3e4970e0312d5

i think this is my motherboard.
Manufacturer: Fujitsu
Product: D2924
Version: S26361-D2924-A1

and i dont have a graphics card, i use an integrated one.
Here are more specs if you need
https://sp.ts.fujitsu.com/dmsp/Publications/public/ds-ESPRIMO-E9900-EStar5.pdf

So im planning on buying a new graphics card, a newer that came in 2017, so i want to ask if it can fit on my motherboard or do i need a new motherboard with a new Graphic card input?
Also, can this processor support some newer graphic cards, maybe for games like black ops 1 and stuff? Thanks.

You will need a LOW Profile Graphics card.

Yes it will support the newer cards, but make sure you get a low profile one.

The power supply would be questionable however as it's only a 250W model.

And the case has no real air flow so be careful what you might buy.

If you want to play newer games you would be better off getting a new computer or building one.

Um okay so the slot in my motherboard will fit newer cards, thank you. But what do you mean by low profile ones? Im also planning to buy new power supply if needed, at least 500 W.
So i dont really have to replace my motherboard, i can just replace the parts in it for newer one? :D

There is a big difference in LOW Profile and Standard, that's the height of the graphics cards.

Something like this Low Profile GTX 1050Ti.

That looks like an really good graphics card, 4 GB! But why is it low profile, what does this mean?

Per your system specs you need a low profile card so it will fit in your case.

If you get a standard card it won't fit per your system specs, it would be too tall.

Im planning on buying this one:
http://www.gigatronshop.com/graficke_karte/asus_radeon_rx_460_2gb_gddr5_128bit_dual_oc__dualrx460o2g-85765

is this a low profile card and will it be compatible with my system and current specs for now? Im planning on buying a new case and a power supply aswell and 4 more GB of RAM, but I'm starting with this. So is this ok?

You are going to try and put a proprietary Motherboard in a new case?

Don't buy anything other than the case 1st to make sure that it will actually work, you might get lucky.

If not then you have a new case to start with in building a new system.

More than likely it won't work however and most of those proprietary motherboard front panel connections won't be compatible with a new case. And that just could be one of the many issues you can run into.

Wait, you're saying this motherboard wont fit into a new case?
If that's not true, how do you find a case that will fit your motherboard?
And the graphic card i sent you, is it low profile and will it go along with my system for now :) ?

No that's not a low profile card.

Your system specs as you posted, well those motherboards they normally use are proprietary, that's never a good thing overall.

I think you would be better off building a new system from scratch.

Well the problem is my budget. But what does proprietary mean?
And what will happen if i put that graphic card in my PC will it not run at all?

You need a low profile graphics card 1st off.

Proprietary means that the motherboard was made only to work with certain parts, you find that in many pre-built systems like the one you have, and Dells, HP's etc.

They are made only to work in the current setup, have special connections etc.

You will be very limited as to what you can do.

Hmmm i see, but what if i somehow manage to transport that motherboard to a new a bigger case, and fit the graphics card, will it still not work?

If the connections work.

If the screw holes line up.

If the Power Supply connections are standard, if not you will fry the motherboard and everything connected to it as soon as you hit the power button.

If the card slots line up with the slots in the new case.

When I used to deal with those types of machines I used to pull the CPU's and Ram and toss the rest.

Okay thanks man, i really appreciate the fast answers. So i just have a few more small questions.
How do i go about finding a new case, that will fit the screws and connections.
And also the power supply connections, what are standards connections?
And i've just checked i have a PCIEX 16 slot on my mother board so the card will fit, the only problem is the space.

Yes, that is the problem.

Best bet would be to get a low profile graphics card and leave the rest alone.

But it has to be a low profile card or it won't fit.

Then save up some money to build a new system later.

You only have a 250w power supply currently so make sure whatever graphics you pick doesn't require more.

Hmm okay, but if i buy a new motherboard, can i still use my current i5 CPU on it? or does that have to go aswell? :c

Yeah, you can, but finding a LGA 1156 motherboard now than can be tricky, one that's in good shape etc.

You can look around.

EBAY can be good if you stick to the better sellers.

So you're saying that only a LGA 1156 can fit my CPU, nothing else ? :c
Sorry im really noob at this

Yeah, you have an i5 650, that's a LGA 1156 CPU.

Lol, rip.
I just measured my motherborad, its around 30x22cm i read that motherborads with these dimensions are standard ATX motherborads and they should be able to fit in most cases. So if i manage to take this motherboard out and fit it into a newer case that should be the end of my problems. Well if my graphics card works afterwards of course.

Maybe, maybe not, if everything lines up and works together.....

You can try and see what happens, rolling the dice.

If it was me I wouldn't even try it.

I would save some money and build new.

If it was me.

Personally I think you are throwing good money away dealing with it.

Lmao it sounds like it was never meant to work from the beggining.
Do you know a good CPU that is low budget but that is good with new motherboards?
thanks.

Yeah just look at the LGA 1151 CPUs and motherboards, prices etc.

The Pentiums are a very good deal right now.

Just save up your money and buy what you need to build a new system.

At least it would be current and last you.
