Can the Asrock 880GM-LE FX support the Amd FX 8350 cpu?
I intend to buy it and a gtx 1060 for vr gaming and need to know if i can use that cpu with my current motherboard.

Solution
No. The FX 8350 is a 125W TDP CPU and the Asrock 880GM-LE FX motherboard only supports up to 95W TDP CPUs (http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/880GM-LE%20FX/#CPU).

On a very important note, I would not recommend you to get any FX CPUs or AM3+ motherboards in this day and age. That platform is already end-of-life, esp. with the newly released AMD Ryzen platform and AM4 motherboards (as well as budget options using Intel CPUs on an LGA1151 platform that have better upgrade paths).

Even a dual-core 7th-gen Pentium G4560 will match (or even exceed) the performance of that 8-core FX 8350 (http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Pentium-G4560-vs-AMD-FX-8350/3892vs1489) for a much lower price, less heat/power consumption, and better...

If you have the budget, consider getting the Ryzen 5 1600 and pair that with a B350-chipset motherboard (which permits overclocking).

If you have a tight budget, consider getting the Pentium G4560 and pair that with a B250-chipset motherboard (does not permit overclocking), but, will give you the opportunity to upgrade to a more powerful CPU (such as an i5 or i7) in the future when you have enough funds.
