this build might be a bit over powered but i want to be future proof btw this is the alienware aura

YOu should build your own. That computer would be way overpriced. I built my own instead of getting alienware and I saved $700. A gtx 680 is good but it's not the greatest. You should go with a 780 or dual 770's or even a 690

the 770 is merely an overclocked and rebadged 680, and a 690 is a pair of 680s with internal SLi on a single board

personally, I'd have said a 4GB 680/770 or a 780

Yes you definitely overpay for Alienware PCs.

Worst case scenario if you're not comfortable building the PC yourself, go to a computer shop and ask them to build one for you. They'll probably beat the price of the Alienware by a lot. They'll probably be able to include a GTX-770 or GTX-780 for a lot less.

Another thing, I find that you always overpay for Intel "Extreme" CPUs. The bang for the bucks is definitely not there. Even for gaming i7 are not mandatory, i5 performs pretty much the same in games. This is why most gamers will get a i5-3570 or i5-4670 something like that.

BF4 seems to be a better optimized game so the requirements are not as high as Crysis 3. Still, you don't need 32GB of RAM to play any games. 8GB is enough for both games, or you can get 16GB if you prefer. But 32 is definitely overkill.

If you are ready to invest this much in a PC, at least consider getting a 250GB SSD for your OS and Programs. And get a secondary HDD for your data (music, pictures, videos, etc...). As I said, a small computer shop will probably include a SSD for less than what you'll pay for the Alienware.

if u r looking to be future proof do not waste ur money on intel and nvidia what games games care about in a processor is the speed of the gigahertz and some games prefer the number of cores so fore the processor go for smoothing like the fx 9095 its about 5 ghtz for less money than the i7 4960 and for the gpu if u want to be future proof mantle promises allot so go for the 290x and the sapphire toxic is the best cards for amd
