Can this pc run newest games on medium to high settings??

Can this PC run games like Assassins creed origins or ghost recon wildlands on high settings ?
I5 3340 ,3.1GHz
GIGABYTE GTX 960 WINDFORCE 2x 2GB
Kingston hyper X fury blue 8GB

I would not recommend GR Wildlands on your current CPU (see below).

Proof that your limitations lie more with your CPU than GPU, however on newest games, the 2GB VRAM also holds it back.

20 games a 960 2GB can play (w/ 4790 CPU)

Note that a 4790 scores about 10000 on Passmark, whereas your 3340 only scores about 6000. If you want to upgrade that system, you can get a 3770 from Newegg for $250, and it would jump your CPU Passmark score from 6000 to 9300. At some point you're going to have to go with a more modern GPU with higher VRAM though. Even 4GB is too little...

I also highly recommend using Nvidia Inspector, as it's free and has profiles for pretty much any game. It's profiles have driver level tweaks that make many games run better on Nvidia GPUs.
