Can this PSU work on my setup?

Hi so my older PSU died, a chieftec 650W.

I can get a new ATX 500W PSU for really cheap, can it run this PC?

i5 2500 3.3ghz
8gb RAM
gtx 560 Ti ( soon upgraded to 960 who i believe uses 40 less watt? )
MSI 7788 h61 p20 MOBO

I think i forgot something if there is please tell I will add it, I will be honest that I know nothing about watt usage in computers so theres that.

Slow down for a second - you have to actually tell us what the PSU is. The hope is to give you something safer for your PC and more dependable than the junk PSU you apparently bought previously. Simply asking if you can run your PC on a "500W" is like asking if "24 mpg car" is a good buy.

With a generic PSU , I would say no , bad idea , poor quality.
