Yes, without a doubt but the GTX 970 will be insanely bottle necked by that CPU, I would recommend that you buy a GTX 770 and use the saved money to purchase an Intl i5 or AMD FX CPU.

Bare minimum CPU I would get is an i5-4430, gaming performance just under a 4670k.

If you can, that would be even better thanks to its higher clock rate.
