im running a ryzen 3 1200 cpu overclocked to 4ghz at 1.40 volts before the voltage was 1.30 and with those setttings my games would freeze 10 min into gameplay. so should raising the voltage to 1.4 volts help. that's as high as im going. amd says 1.43 volts max.

Yes, too low (for frequency) voltage can make everything including games unstable. You may be ably to get away with a bit lover (than 1.4v) voltage just have to experiment. You can also experiment with LLC (Load Line Calibration) so voltage may raise only when needed and short time.

ya it froze in battlefield 1 10 min into the game. I lowered the cpu speed to 3.9ghz and 1.35 volts, any suggestions?
