Can two 980Ti run 3 1440p Monitors?

I am a big fan of racing sims and therefore I want to have 3 1440p monitors set up in an ergonomic stand.

Can the two cards run recent games on Ultra settings with good framerate in surround? Or is it even possible?


Another thing is that I would only game on the three monitors for racing, the rest of the games I play, for example Arma III would only run in the middle monitor.

It's more pixels than 4k but most racing games don't need much power. It should be able to but other games you won't be doing surround.
