Can u go from a pci card to a agp card?

I just need to know if you have a Pci card can u change it to a pci card and how do u do that I have several slots in my pc that aren't being used. Wonder if an agp will fit one of the slots can I stick it in and turn it on. Mabe change the bios to the AGP. ?????

You can't put a agp in a pci slot if that is what you mean.

Not sure about the motherboard but the pc is a gateway

The pc should recognice the card automaticly.

If you are thinking about upgrading from a PCI to an AGP then throw it away, it's time to buy a new computer, you’re not even in the same decade with that mother board.
AGP was obsoleted when PCIE came out 7 years ago
PCI and PCIE are not the same. PCI data rate is 1x AGP is an 8x and PCIE is an 16x
Today the standard is moving to PCIE2 which is just a PCIE with increased voltage.

To the OP
You can go to a PCIe X16, your Mobo has a slot on it.... you can't go to an AGP since your mobo in the Gateway doesn't have an AGP slot.
Although if you go in for one of those ones with a PCIe Power connector required, you might find yourself in a position where you might need to buy a new PSU too.
